Horty Hints
Hung out to dry! This hanging plant likes to dry off before it goes for its next soak. Allow top 1 – 2 inches of soil to dry before watering.
Same plant, different name. Sedum Burrito is also known as Lamb’s Tail, Horse’s Tail and Burro’s Tail.
Watch me bloom! For the best flowering conditions, allow temperature to drop in winter (no further than 13°C) and reduce watering.
Light
Enjoys bright, indirect light. Sedum Burrito can handle partial shade, morning sun is best as it is less harsh.
Watering
Allow top layer (1 – 2 inches) of soil to dry out before watering again, can tolerate short periods of drought.
Temperature
Thrives in average household temperatures (ideally between 18-23°C), however, can survive temps as low as 5°C for very short periods of time.
Humidity
Increased humidity can cause stems to rot. Avoid placing in bathrooms and kitchens.
Feed
A weak solution of balanced fertiliser twice in the growing season will give the Sedum Burrito all it needs for the year.
