These are robust, stocky plants. Perfect if you’re looking for a Sansevieria with all their easy-care qualities, but don’t have the space for one of the taller varieties.

Off on your holibobs? No probs! The Futura Superba is drought tolerant and is more than happy being left to its own devices making it the ideal houseplant for the keen traveller.
Make it rain! Once your Futura Superba’s soil has dried out and it’s time to water again, make sure to thoroughly drench the soil, allowing any excess water to drain through the bottom.
Living life on the edge! Make sure to water your Futura Superba around the edge of its grow pot, avoiding the middle stems as this can cause the plant to rot easily.
Light
Sanseviera trifasciata Futura Superba does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred.
Watering
Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Do not allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.
Temperature
This houseplant is happy in places with temperatures between 15°C and 23°C and can cope in as low as 10°C for short periods.
Humidity
Futura Superba will do fine in normal household humidity. If brown tips develop, consider occasional misting.
Feed
Apply a weak dose of cactus or general purpose feed once a month at most during the growing season. Sansevieria are low maintenance plants and do not require a lot of supplementary feeding.

The Futura Superba is a slow-grower and typically reaches an ultimate height of around 0.5m.
